Vaginal Toning
Toning the vaginal canal is the key to healthy sexual functioning. Poor muscle tone can lead to diminished sex drive, difficulties with childbirth, incontinence, and prolapse of the uterus and bladder. Strong muscle tone can lead to increased sexual satisfaction and overall strength of mind and body. These muscles (PC and surrounding) are an essential part of the “core” referred to in various exercise programs.
Regular contraction and strengthening of these muscles is easy, discreet, and can be done any time throughout your day. Beginners, start at about 50 contractions and work your way up to about 350 a day. As you contract these muscles and bring conscious attention to the area, you will soon be able to discern at least three different “sections” leading higher into the canal. This gripping and undulating action will also increase satisfaction for your partner.
